“Any of your sources find it unusual that 13,000 sorties into this war, that finally one is brought down?” anchor Trace Gallagher requested Griffin. “I mean, we’ve been hearing that their resources, their weapons, have been depleted. Just bad luck?”

“Well, it’s more than bad luck,” Griffin replied. “It is an indication that all it takes is one good shot to bring down a U.S. war plane. It is impossible to suppress all of the weapons that are out there. This is a very large country.”

“And I think that is why there is a hesitation for going forward through the Strait of Hormuz,” she added, “because the Iranians still have a lot of missiles.”
