Wagner and Cochrane are each again out on the grass at Blues’ coaching floor however neither are more likely to return imminently.
Giving an update on the duo, Blues supervisor Davies stated: “Kai’s doing well. He’s not quite there yet, I think he’s going to be another few weeks. It takes a little bit of time for that bone to heal fully, but he is doing light training. It’s the contact that’s the problem.
“Alex has been light training. He’s got a bit further to go because of the time he’s been out but it’s good to see him with his boots on. He’s joining in little bits of unopposed technical work and getting his fitness up.
“There’s a few hurdles he needs to get over in terms of the specialist reviews but I hope both can be with us in the final couple of weeks of the season.”
