Iowa State went 22-9 on the season, together with 10-8 in Big 12 Conference play, to earn an at-large bid to the event. It marks the Cyclones’ twenty fourth bid to March Madness.
They’ll face a tricky job in opposition to Syracuse, which went 23-8 on the season and 12-6 in the ACC. Iowa State is coming off a 77-68 loss to Arizona State in the second spherical of the Big 12 Tournament on March 5.
