With a first-ever Emmy for his work on “The Pitt” that coincides together with his “Southland” collection revived on Netflix, Shawn Hatosy has motive to rejoice past Friday’s high-profile theatrical sequel “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.”

Does he see “Southland,” which is about LA cops, as his large break?
“I had a fairly busy film profession proper out of highschool. A profession occurs in levels. I was on this world of adlescent films — and that pale. Then got here this golden age of primary cable TV – and that blew up. Then ‘Southland’ — and that went away.
“So you’re all the time guessing like, will center age be the tip of me?
“Certainly, after the actors’ strike, I was going by means of a fairly bleak time. And then John Wells, who I’ve made 5 reveals with, and ‘The Pitt’ got here alongside.
