Kelsey Fitzsimmons trial witness list released – NBC Boston

With the Kelsey Fitzsimmons trial quickly approaching, the list of potential witnesses who may testify has been released.

The witness list comes as a part of a set of paperwork released to NBC10 Boston by Lawrence Superior Court on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, Fitzsimmons waived her proper to a jury trial, meaning a judge will ultimately decide the case.

She has pleaded not responsible to a cost of assault with a harmful weapon in reference to the June 30 incident at her Phillips Brook Road home. Police had been serving her with a restraining order and informing her that her fiancé, who claimed she had assaulted him and threatened the lifetime of their little one, was acquiring court-ordered custody of their son.

Fitzsimmons was shot in the course of the incident by police. Law enforcement alleges that she pointed a gun at them in the course of the confrontation — her protection, although, claims that she pointed the gun at her personal head.
