Avelo Airlines plans to add non-stop service from Indianapolis to New Haven, Connecticut, and Concord, North Carolina.
HOUSTON — The Indianapolis International Airport is welcoming a new airline to Indy.
Beginning June 18, Avelo Airlines will begin year-round, twice-weekly flights to New Haven, Connecticut, and Concord, North Carolina.
Airport officers say the new flights give vacationers extra choices when flying to the Charlotte, North Carolina, or New York City metro areas.
With the addition of those new locations, vacationers will now have the ability to fly non-stop to 57 places from Indianapolis.
Airport officers describe Avelo Airlines as an extremely–low-cost service, related to Frontier, Spirit, or Allegiant Airlines.
Avelo serves smaller, much less crowded airports which might be cheaper and extra handy for the airline to function in.
Avelo operates flights utilizing the Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 plane.
