THIS Morning host Cat Deeley went lacking from at this time’s show as a brand new presenter was pressured to step in.
On Tuesday’s instalment of the ITV show, common host Cat was absent with TV star Angela Scanlon stepping in for her.
Just minutes into the episode, Ben Shephard instructed viewers that “Cat is away”, with out providing additional explanation for his co-stars absence.
Angela then shortly went on to disclose what was arising on the show.
Ben added: “Also, it’s the era that brought us the Spice Girls, Friends, and of course, Snake. The 90s are iconic for many things, including fashion.”
Cat hosted the show on Monday however didn’t reveal that she wouldn’t be showing at this time.

But the hosts didn’t handle why Cat was lacking.
Some followers took to X to ask the place Cat had gone.
One wrote: “No Cat today…”
A second posted: “The continuity announcer obvs didn’t get the memo re Cat.”
A 3rd requested: “I’m Late!! Where is Cat?”
But some followers have been pleased with the alternative and mentioned Ben and Angela had nice on-screen chemistry.
This individual shared: “Said this before but Angela is far more natural and herself than Cat she should be getting this gig she is funny down to earth and easy on the eye and ear.”
A second commented; “No cackling Cat today.. thank God.. now to get rid of Shepherd.”
The Sun has reached out to This Morning for remark.
This will not be the primary time Angela has offered the show, having beforehand co-hosted in December.
Ben and Cat often host the weekday show from Mondays to Thursdays, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary overlaying the Friday show.
