Fox has moved Wednesday’s broadcast of the World Baseball Classic recreation between Italy and Mexico — the results of which straight impacts Team USA’s destiny — from the free streaming app Tubi to FS1, making the competition accessible to followers with cable, multi-channel streaming providers or satellite tv for pc entry.
The 7 p.m. ET recreation gained new relevance for followers after Team USA’s stunning 8-6 loss to Italy on Tuesday.

When Italy and Mexico play Wednesday night within the Pool B finale, here are the scenarios at play, per The Athletic’s Johnny Flores:
The best path for Team USA to advance to the quarterfinals:
• If Italy wins, then the U.S. is in because the No. 2 seed.
Anything much less and issues get extra sophisticated, due to the pool-play tiebreaker (assuming the Italy-Mexico recreation doesn’t go to further innings):
• If Mexico wins whereas scoring 4 or fewer runs, then Team USA is eradicated. Mexico would be the No. 1 seed and Italy the No. 2 seed.
• If Mexico scores 5 or extra runs in a win, then Italy could be eradicated. The U.S. would then be the No. 1 seed and Mexico the No. 2.
In different pool-play finales: Canada-Cuba will air at 3 p.m. ET on FS2. The Dominican Republic vs. Venezuela recreation will air at 8 p.m. ET on Tubi.
