Lily Collins Recovers Her Engagement Ring Three Years After It Was Stolen

The Emily in Paris actor posted a selfie with the ring on her Instagram Stories yesterday (March 6) with the caption: “Having this home means SO much to us. I’m still speechless [that] it’s back in my finger.” Collins’s ring is a “one-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond,” designed by Irene Neuwirth, and valued at over $80,000.

Collins announced her engagement to writer-director Charlie McDowell, which happened throughout a visit to Mexico, again in September 2020. They wed in September 2021 in Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado. She wore a long-sleeved, hooded lace robe by Ralph Lauren.

In the years since, they have welcomed one daughter, Tove Jane McDowell.

In May 2023, the actor’s engagement ring, wedding ceremony band, and digital gadgets have been taken from her locker inside The West Hollywood EDITION lodge’s spa. The theft was investigated on the time by the Los Angeles County Sheriff, to no avail.

Collins didn’t share any strong particulars of how the ring was truly recovered, however credited Joe The Jeweler from downtown Chicago for returning it to her.
