West Village pedestrian killed: NYPD IDs 22-year-old woman struck in Manhattan as Destiny Murrell

WEST VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) — New York City law enforcement officials on Monday recognized the victim of a hit-and-run in the West Village over the weekend.

The sufferer has been recognized as 22-year-old Destiny Murrell of Brooklyn.

Police say a grey SUV struck her as she crossed sixth Avenue close to Washington Place shortly earlier than 6 a.m. Saturday.

She was in a crosswalk on the time.

Police are presently on the lookout for the motive force and no arrests have been made.
