Diamond League: Amy Hunt pipped to first place in Lausanne 200m event

Amy Hunt adopted up her extraordinary week on the European Championships with a second-place end in the ladies’s 200m on the Diamond League in Lausanne.

The Briton crossed the end line in 22.32 seconds, edging Nigerian Favour Ofili in a photograph end.

American Kayla White gained the race in 22.18 as former world champion Shericka Jackson pulled up on the bend with a leg damage and two-time Diamond League champion Brittany Brown didn’t begin.

Hunt travelled to Switzerland on the again of successful 4 gold medals on the European Championships in Birmingham final week.

She took gold in the 100m, 200m, ladies’s 4x100m relay and combined 4x100m relay – turning into the first athlete to win 4 gold medals in a single version of the European Championships.
