SAN ANTONIO – An AMBER Alert for a missing 2-year-old girl Sunday night left a Northwest Side group heartbroken after she was found unresponsive and later pronounced useless.
Amongst the folks grieving the demise of Aryana Trevino Martinez are her neighbors, Anna Marie Ramirez and Uriel Ramirez, 22.
Anna Marie Ramirez advised KSAT her son, Uriel Ramirez, found Martinez unresponsive in an overgrown, water-filled creek space. A San Antonio Police Department investigator on scene advised KSAT the toddler was positioned close to Belle Ellen, a street in the Dreamhill Estates neighborhood.

On Sunday evening, the Texas Department of Public Safety issued an AMBER Alert for Martinez. She was final seen at 7:45 p.m. that day in the 4000 block of Allegheny Drive.
Anna Marie Ramirez mentioned she advised her son, “We need to be a part of this and help.” Their first thought was to go looking down a close-by creek.

At 12:10 a.m. Monday, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced Martinez useless. Her trigger and method of demise are nonetheless pending.
